A Reaver is a massive biomachine forced into servitude by the Cynid Cult. Before its forceful conversion, it was a peaceful species of giant arachnid native to the Cult's homeworld. Reavers have been extensively outfitted with weapons and armor, featuring an Anti-Matter beam that turns anything it touches into vapor, it also has a pair of Fragger Cannons attached to its powerful close combat arms which are more than capable of tearing through thickly armored vehicles and even bunkers. The Cynids directly control the hapless creature through a command center that is wired to the creature’s brain, effectively making it a very dangerous puppet. In addition, the creature's neural wiring has been altered to convert the pain reflex into extreme amounts of anger and aggression. To get an idea of its size, it is typically larger than most buildings. Fortunately Reavers are rare, and only deployed in the most vicious of battles and some are kept around to defend high priority installations in the Nexus City.
