I just was looking through my photos and remembered the photo of the snapping turtle that paid a visit one day. He didn't like us messing with him. He hid in the tall grass near the pump house, and I did not want to mow the grass over there. My grandma mowed the grass, and accidentally mowed the turtle too! He lived, but there is now a serious red mark on his back. My grandma deeply regrets that she mowed the turtle!
