So, this was supposed to be a quick and less polished sketch, but then things went overboard as usual... and I don't regret it in the slightest! I can currently take a small break from my studies, and drawing all day feels just SO good!

This fancy, armored gentleman belongs to the Tol'kahir people, a sub-group of the Jedhazi ethnicity ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/33142395/ ) who decided to become sedentary instead of living a nomadic lifestyle. While the jedhazi move around the desert called "Golden Sea" from oasis to oasis, the Tol'kahir built several city states arond the largest oasis. Each city state is independent, even though they can sometimes join together against a common threat, like the failed campaign lead by the Empire of Elaris against their lands.
Their relationship with their nomadic cousins is neutral at best, as they both control parts of the caravan routes through the desert. Occasionally the Jedhazi raid Tol'kahir villages, and vice versa. Normal routine.

The warrior above is a member of the Holy Guard of his city state, which means he's one of the best and most badass warriors available. His extremely decorated weaponry shows his wealth and status.

Oh, and speaking of his weapons, they are based on the Afghan Lohar. As soon as I discovered the existence of these beautiful war scythes, I HAD to include them in some artwork!!! Look at them, aren't they BEAUTIFUL?!?
