A detail shot of my new work that is going to be uploaded very soon. It's INCREASED BY 2, not the actual size! (I would die on something larger than this one, really).
The sheep are thinking you, worms, are not worth their attention. XDDD
I love sheep. Now humiliate me for that. <_<

A flock is my dream too. I'm sick of all the science and all those drama and bitches around, so I'll move to country with my girlfriend, who's a sheep lover too, get ourselves 50 or so ewes and make limited edition designer scarves and thingies from their wool :DDDD
Oh man, I hear ya. :D I want sheep so badly...I want the wool, and I want the meat, I hate buying meat from the store, I always am left wondering if the animal was treated well or not and I hate not knowing. Then again I want Shetlands, so...not a whole lot of meat on 'em. :P I may end up keeping a few Icelandics or Romanovs for meat and the Shetlands for wool...
....then again I have a while to figure it out, I live in a crappy tiny apartment right now. Sad. :P
I need to learn to knit...I can crochet but not knit. Oh, and I want to get a loom...I'd LOVE to do some weaving!!! Can you imagine wearing something that you sheared off the sheep, cleaned, brushed, spun, wove and then stitched together yourself? It's...oh man, such a dream of mine.
Also cheese. Sheepcheese makes me SO HAPPY. My favourite cheeses are sheep cheeses. The right wine with 'em and oh man, I'm a happy puppy.

We don't have sheep cheese around here at all. The whole fucking region of about 1000km around only has ONE flock and they don't do cheese (although theri lambs are just delicious, I must confess; I'm going to have a month-long pracitce on that farm pretty soon so maybe I'll finally get more info on them). What's more I'm sure that our mountains would be just PERFECT for sheep, as they're less sensitive to weather and food as milk cattle, but we only have some goats in rare villages, because, you see, breeding sheep in the Urals IS NOT TRADITIONAL.
EPIC FAIL. D:

Pfffft, traditional...why can't people make new traditions? I love sheep. :)
If you get a chance, maybe order some sheepcheese from somewhere online someday, it makes all other cheeses seem inferior. It's just HEAVENLY. :) And just think, when you have your own sheep...making cheese isn't all that difficult! :D

Sheep are great. And you've captured that ovine facial structural I so love...the big Roman nose particular to some breeds of sheep.
I currently have some suffolk on my ranch but I think I'd really like to get into hair sheep of some sort. Texas heat is not so fun for wooly sheep.
That and shearing gets way old fast :)
Great work. Glad to see some who appreciated sheep.
