Mingtachi was once was a samurai warrior from the kingdom of Muromachi Japan, and served under the emperor who rule that land for many years. Until then formal Emperor was slain, and taken over by his daughter, and rule the land with an iron fist. Mingtachi was close with the original ruler, but Emperor daughter accuse Mingtachi as the murderer, and try to send her to prison. Mingtachi managed to escape prison, and ran away from the kingdom she once called home.

Mingtachi traveled across sea, and reach land she never lay eyes on. She wall to different kingdom that walk, or even talk different from her, but she manages to learn quick, and blend in the crowd. Mingtachi continued moving one place to another, until she reach the land of Old England. She seen they were hiring teachers for sword fighting, but prefer to stay hidden. Mingtachi saw some warriors from her homeland. She knew that staying in her dog form would give her away, so she use her magic and turn into a nine tail fox to fool people. She stay at an inn to have a drink, until she saw a hybrid wolf pegasus was having too much fun drinking and telling everyone that a good fighter. The hybrid spoke to Mingtachi and ask her to see if she can fight him, which she did and won. The hybrid was impress and ask her who she was. She told her that she was Ming, and willing to teach him how to fight. On that day Ming was Thomas Maxwell teacher and show him how to be a better fighter and a better person
