Heh, these ones are pooping up the employee patio area at the factory. I'd noticed a line of massive bird poops, looked up and saw the Raven couple. They took off right after I took the flash photo. It has been cold and windy a lot lately, they seem to have found a good shelter there. Been watching them do their courting flights lately. Ditto for a pair of Hawks. Seen a few air battles between the Ravens and Hawks lately - territory fight. I jokingly call it the Battle of Britain

Find myself making aircraft noises and machinegun sounds when watching any birds attacking Hawks. I've watched multiple House Finches attack a Hawk that had grabbed one of their flock. Looks like a whole squadron of fighters going after one bomber

I get the feeling he was from the WW2 era too. Dad was 11 going on 12 when the US entered the war. I still have his scrap book of aircraft pictures from that time period
