The 2nd to last part of Furlives, part 99,
Dusk is finally ready to wake, but his friends are missing him already. He explains this is a dream and he will see them again but some aren't so sure...
Never the less he follows Nate's instruction and steps onto a glowing swirl in the darkness, which instantly glows. The light flows up, engulfing Dusk, and as he yells in vain, Nate soothingly tells him to wake up.
On the 9th of March, 2010, Dusk wakes with a start, blinks, and groggily groans 'Whoa...'
This is the second to last part of Furlives, the next one is right here right now.
Fulfilling a promise to an old friend here by including his character in the series. Hope you like it, buddy.
Nate's
nateday Character 'Avian' (named Nate here) Has been used without permission but with request pending. Should Nateday feel the character was used unjustly, I shall remove.
All good things,
Dusk

Because originally the comic was only going to be a few sketches and a bit of a giggle for my friends. When I realised it could be more I asked my friends but they wanted me to finish it. I continued without their blessing anyway and I finally decided a year ago I wanted to seperate the story from the negativity I felt to a few of the characters. I had a few ideas and originally the character was just going to walk away into the sunset but this idea then came to me and I liked it better.
Don't worry though, I've not done a 'and it was all a dream' climax and leave it there. There is some method to the design an this dream will be important later in the future story.
:) Thanks for asking a valid question, I'd love to answer any more you have?
