A special Valentine's Day gift for my good friend .

Usually around this time I do a Cupid Marshall and Cupid Dan story, but I couldn't think up any ideas for this year. However I came up with a cute idea of Dan giving a valentine for his secret crush, Amber.

It was Valentine's Day at the Happy Cub Daycare, and each cub was to make a Valentine for their mother, father or friend. Marshall had made a beautiful valentine for his mommy and daddy. Amber has also made one for her parents as well. However, Marshall noticed that his best friend Dan Raccoon has made out his valentine, but is feeling rather shy about it. Feeling curious, Marshall waddled over towards Dan.

Marshall: "Hey Dan. I see you made out your valentine. And it's a beautiful one too! Gonna give that to your mommy?"

Dan: "Um... no. I really want to give this to my secret admirer. But I'm rather kinda shy about it. What if she doesn't like it?"

Marshall: "A secret admirer huh? Who is she?"

Dan: "Amber".

Marshall: "Awww, that's sweet! I say you should hand your valentine to her. She'll love it!"

Dan: "But... isn't Amber your special friend? I just can't..."

Marshall: "Nonsense! True, she's my friend, but it doesn't mean that she can't be your friend too. Amber's a friend to each and every cub in this daycare. Now go give her your valentine. I guarantee she'll love it!"

With enough encouragement from Marshall, Dan quietly waddled over to where Amber was standing at. Getting down to his knees, Dan shows Amber his valentine.

Dan: "For you Amber."

Amber smiled happily upon seeing the lovely valentine.

Amber: "Awwww, how sweet of you Dan! *hugs Dan tightly* Thank you for the wonderful valentine!"

Dan smiled happily as he hugged Amber in return while Marshall approved with a thumb's up.

Dan: "You're welcome Amber. Can we be friends?"

Amber: *giggles* "Oh you silly raccoon! You've always been my friend! I know I hang out with Marshall most of the time, but that doesn't mean that I can make other friends too. You are and always will be my friend, Dan."

Amber then goes over to a table and hands one of the valentines she made herself and gives it to Dan.

Amber: "And here's a valentine for you Dan!"

Dan: "Awww, thanks Amber."

Dan and Amber then went towards the indoor playground to play while Marshall watches. As Marshall turned around and returned to his table, he heard a shout from Amber.

Amber: "Hey Marshall! Come and join me and Dan! You're my friend too!"

Marshall: "Okay, be right there!"

Marshall then went to a table to grab one of his homemade valentines and waddles towards Amber, who in return has a valentine for him. After a group hug from the three friends, Marshall, Dan and Amber had a wonderful time playing in the indoor playground.
