Finished my tests! Shockingly my old silicone (pink) is still good! I thought there was no way it'd set- it was so glue-like when getting it out I was sure it was dead. The test with the Isopropyl Myristrate turned out just fine as well! I tried one where I threw in an old piece of silicone (pink stuff) into the new stuff (translucent) to see if it'd bond, inhibit or just not stick and it looks like different silicones (tin cure vs platinum cure) don't stick, but don't inhibit cure either quite useful to know. The second from the right is Tamiya primer on top of Sculpey and sanded- testing to see if the spray primer inhibits or reacts with the Sculpey and to see if there's a visible texture difference between the Sculpey and the primer after sanding. Sadly there is. Erh. Gonna have to figure out how to get a decent surface with the primer.

Almost ready for casting weekend! Now to finish up the Dik-dik and prime and sand any last flaws out of Kirby.
