Yeah, pretty much. Hao's been killing people since he was fourteen, and tends to look upon anyone not of his immediate family to be objects, not people.

That was before he met Hu Xiu, a red panda femme chosen for him by one of Hong Kong's best marriage brokers and astrologers. Xiu's educated, confident, and her father taught her business.

It's a great help that both Hao and Xiu love each other. She can't resist teasing him a bit to keep his attention on her and not any likely bits of female flesh that cross his path. She thinks that she's finally weaned him off a certain attraction to canine women.
