Since it's around Valentine's day, I figured I'd upload this drawing I recently made for myself. It's a somewhat new take a couple of characters I made back in grade school. I wanted to update their design in vain of how I recently have been drawing their alien-like species, the Nimans. I didn't want to go overboard with the toon shading stuff, so I kept it simple.
This is Stacy and Mathiese, two young Niman adults from a series I came up with as a kid called Twist'Trio. Since then be slowly writing the lore behind them and their impact on the Humans of Earth. Won't get too into it, but Stacy, the one with the green tank top, has a crush on the hero, Mathiese, the one with the big purple hair. Normally, Mathiese confident around others, but around Stacy, he gets a bit shy.
The backstory behind them, at least Stacy, might be a little complex, but that is a story for another day.
