It’s a pretty well-known fact that the majority of Demons have some type of shape shifting or otherwise appearance altering magics at their disposal, but few people truly understand the extent to which we employ it. To use myself as an example, “Hybrid Transformations” while not the most common type of Demonic transformation, are still widely used by Demons of all types and ranks for a wide variety of reasons, from simple vanity (I look much better in this form, don’t you think?) to job specialization (see above image), Transformation is a pretty standard part of a Demon’s life.
Speaking of Job Specialization, I might as well explain why I’m a snake from the waist down. A job recently came down the way from some of my higher ups that called for an assassination, and since I had a pretty good track record of being sneaky (I know It was only one mission, but I did really well damnit!) I got a priority slot to take it if I wished. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance! However, the contract required a few stipulations on my part, namely, there could be NO traces of any Infernal intervention; A pretty standard stipulation, but there was a catch. The Target was in a compound in the middle of a jungle, so it was decided that I’d have to “blend in” a bit better, so a higher level Demon TF’d me into a Naga. Not gonna lie, it was a bit more painful than I’m used to, but after that, the Infernal Armories kitted me out with a semi-automatic, scoped FAL, a Revolver, and sent me on my merry way.
20 minutes of awkward slithering later, I came upon the Target’s location and set myself up. Unfortunately for me, the trees were too thick to shoot through without severely impacting the bullet’s path, so I had to come up with another solution. So I looped my rifle’s sling around a branch and decided to hang upside-down. (I know, I’m a genius) but with that out of the way, all I have to do now is wait…

They did zero this rifle, right?

(Why the revolver you ask? 2 reasons. 1: my rifle has no rear iron sight, so aside from hip-firing, i needed a backup weapon. 2: It just felt right; i mean, it is a 1895 Naga-nt after all!)
