It is surprisingly good for what it is, fighting against all expectations. Its no Citizen Kane but its not an Emoji Movie :P

I'm good at filtering out spoilers. It helps to have a sieve memory at times. I only keep the important nuggets of info :P Except for Rise of Skywalker; I just read the synopsis since I was burned out by Last Jedi.

Agreed. If I had to give it a score...I think in the sonic games score, I'd give it a b.

in a 1/10 score, i'd give it an 8.3

I just saw it, and it feels weird what with the extra characters not from the games and the liberties they take with the lore, but it's still super fun to watch.

Sonic Boom is an alternate universe, just as Archie Comics Sonic was also an alternate universe.

Indeed...and this movie could be one too. I mean, the games literally say that Tail was found by Sonic, however, this sonic, as a kid, has never met Tails, sooooooo alternate universe?

(and if that bonus scene means anything, I feel alternate universe)
