Im really proud of this. I spent a good 40 minutes doing all the shading. Even then. I love the mask design too. I started at the head and worked out. then etched in the horse so I wouldn't have to work too hard on anything. I shaded the horse then decided it needed a background, so I drew them on the edge of a cliff with heavy woods nearby.

Furthermore, I will freely admit my recent obbsession with masks was due in part to  fabercastel 's use of them for a series of inuit conceptual arts. I loved that shit. I loved masks before but I forgot how cool totemic patterns, shapes and motifs were. :D

EDIT: Edited based on the critique of  aoki who said my Horse head ruined the whole piece. XD It hurt, but he did have a point. I know the horse really stands out now, but I plan to ink all of this and possibly full colour it over my march break.
I really REALLY enjoy drawing in English. @_@

I drew these in english instead of listening.

That class is INCREDIBLE for my creative drive, because I have no other distraction then drawing. So I draw like CRAZY because so much of the class doesn't matter. XD
