A new short story that takes place in the Griffin Ranger universe. New characters, a stand-alone story, although it helps to have read the books for some background on the various species there.
I wrote the story back in the fall before I got sick, but the art is new. Only 99 cents-- check it out for some griffin-y goodness. And don't worry, the story is not as bleak as Sentinel Island was!

Generally, anything less than a novel, unless you're an A-list author, should be 99 cents. For novels by indy authors, I see a price range between 2.99 and maybe 5 or 6 dollars. Cheaper is better for unknowns. I've also seen people offering the first book in a series for free or 99 cents, hoping that it will hook people into buying the rest. Sometimes it works, sometimes the first book sucks and I don't get the others.
