I love your cartoony stuff, but this is most excellent! You should do more like this. Just because it's realistic doesn't mean it can't be amusing or cute. Why not have a realistic T-rex stalking a cupcake? It seems like I remember you doing that once, ages ago.
But, yeah, I love the art you currently do and the stuff you used to do! The skin texture is great on this picture. ^_^

Wow! This is different from your style I'm familiar with but I'm really impressed! There's a surprising amount of detail with the scars and everything, not to mention the scales look excellent. The different shades do seem very natural like something you'd see in the wild. That must have been a lot of work to do but I think it turned out very well. I'm very impressed you can do both this and the more cartoon style so well. You commented you might start drawing this way again more-either way I think your artwork looks fantastic.
