What if I went out for a stroll one evening, and made my way to the top of the hill to watch the sunset? What if I sat atop that hill, feeling utterly alone as the breeze buffeted me? What if I wasn't? What if I turned and saw your face, your eyes ablaze with the light of the setting sun? What if time stood still? What if, in that moment, the only thing I saw was you? What if the sun crept below the horizon, and the world kept turning? What if you gave a simple nod and a smile, and carried on your walk down the path? What if, as I stood alone in the growing darkness, I wanted nothing more than to see you again?
