It's only realistic if flames come out of the back!
Even better if you can get little diamond/cone shaped hot-spots in the middle of the flames!
(RF4-C tied down and in afterburner at night, there was this little string of blue-white diamonds in the center of it - and you couldn't 'hear' it - you felt it! )
