Parents don't give enough spankings these days. I was raised on them, and look at me now: a fine young man who knows the true meaning of discipline.

Meanwhile, there are parents older than me who were never spanked who are so entitled that they should be spanked in front of and by their children! Coddling breeds brats!

I do agree, although in my opinion it strongly depends on an individual child. As for me, I was a very calm child, almost never caused trouble and only got a spanking twice in my entire life. Now some of my contemporaries though... And especially some of the kids I see today... They are really unbearable brats!
(Geez, it sounds like I was 40 or something and I'm only 22!)

And I'm only 23! Sometimes it feels like Judgement Day is right around the corner with the way our society (or lack thereof) is going!
