So... Today I have discovered that my scanner hates zebras. I shouldn't really be surprised anymore.
This is my part of a trade with
sumie-dh who asked me to draw a herd of zebras, but otherwise left it up to me. I said I was going to be fed up with stripes after this and I wasn't wrong there. I count 19 equines in that picture and that is a lot of stripes. I've been working on this since Sunday and it has taken me two days just to get through colouring the stripes. Beyond my sudden desire to draw something brightly coloured, I found this an interesting challenge. I have consciously avoided drawing more than two horses in a drawing together, so it was nice to push past my comfort zone. Pity about all the details destroyed by the scanner. *sigh*

My part is only in stadium of sketch *have lot of work with learn to mature exams*
But is promise,that I end it in near time,because all art work´s,which I has before AT I have now ready.
Nice experiment.And you scanner don´t eat shading...it was probably only fine....I has with this also problem...I don´t seen original,but with PS are shading passably to sight...
I you want,you can make photo of pic or try configure your scanner.I very doubt about bad driver.Maybe is your scanner only old =XD
And further thing-grass dont look like grass =XXXD
But also with this all is this nice picture =:3
