As the humans first went deeper into the underground, they came across a species like none they'd ever encountered on the surface. This was the first Pet in the Hollows, but not the last by a long way.

The Ploom has a very flowery appearance, with many large leaves covering most of its body. The Ploom's feet and arms are made of several roots combined together to make a solid part, which can be used to pick items up, find nutrients in the soil and can reach far places with ease. It's head is a large flower, the eyes look like large orbs which scan the environment. Some believe they can see into the future using these, but these are mere rumours. The Plooms vary in size greatly, but most are around 3ft. They need very little feeding, as they find most of their food from the soil. In battle, the Ploom has many advantages, including it's very long reach, and its very sturdy leaf armour. It's obvious weakness is fire, which many other creatures have used to their advantage. Overall, the Ploom is a loyal and hard-working pet, needing very little attention but staying with their owners for life.

We at the Hollows have decided to go ahead and release some of the pet art, to give people a feel for what it will be like. Feel free to give us any feed back as it is still under development and we'd love to make sure that it will be a fun experience to appeal to a wide range of people.
