Hello! The show has a medium pace as it's building up to something bigger (I have not read up on the manga recently), it's taking the more slow origin story route if that makes sense. Right now it's 4 seasons in (still going), 2 movies have been made so far. I would say give it a watch, who knows it may be your cup of tea or it may not. ^_^
