Seems the PSA from 2015 hasnt been heard by enough Pokemon
More and more reports of blimpified Pokemon have been coming up! Several Pokemon growing several times there own size. We now know the cause is in fact berries in the area the look like purple blimps that when consumed, cause the Pokemon to fill and change ship. Sadly, due to low funding, its still hard to pinpoint a cure. As always, to hear more about this developing story, please stay tuned.

Sorry for taking this long to properly write back to your submission here, Neiro. Had an urgent thing coming up first and then caught some flu. I am currently on my way of getting better and hope you are feeling good yourself, too. =3
It's always a lucky occasion for Shiny to find anything connected towards wacky changes or some other magical situations. I guess he's the type who over time actually starts to enjoy all the amusing things connected to them. If somebody would warn about something like fuhnny fruits and berries popping up that have that sorta uplifting results, my guess here would be: he deliberately wanted to find one of them and taste test it. <X3
You drew his expressions very nicely in this sequence and I feel lucky that you also seemed to enjoy the perspective of returning to this idea of yours. As said in private, I enjoyed the WIPs for this one already and appreciate it a lot that you did make such cute additions like letting him keep wearing his neckerchief like an extra decoration on his advertisement blimp body.
You can make out well in the various stages how Shiny seems excited about that the berry that he snacked from, seems to be having the effects that he's been looking for, following by curiosity and more joy about the buoyancy that he's getting himself into there. While the sensations must be probably filled with a bunch of toony stretching and squeks, it's surely all interesting ones, especially when it's Shiny who is feeling them. I highly assume that he still can somewhat wiggle about with his tailtip and naturally steer about the new propellers. So it's surely a bunch of fun.
I'd say that based of teh artwork, I could still guess that Shiny could be inflated ecver so slightly bigger yet and carry some cargo. Maybe some toonishly attached cabin for people to ride with him or an illuminated sign to help spreading some messages from high above. It's still Shiny we are talking about so helping people is what he enjoys doing most of the time. =D
An interesting side thing that I enjoy doing with Inflation based sequences, is comparing sizes, Going by the nubs where Shiny's paws were, are like 1/4th zoomed out to fit Shiny in the image and Shiny, is aprox around 3ft in height with some slight liberties of the slight bloat in his upright standing positions here...then I can stack...at least eleven of him on top of each other just to match the width between tummy and backplates/blimp' upper rudders, hehe.
That would mean he's about 33ft tall. Hmm...Not a Goodyear blimp's size yet (59.5ft) but I'm sure arrangements can be made if one needs a bigger Totoblimp yet, hehe. X3
Anyways, it's definitely a lot of fun, and if you state something like they need to find ways to reverse that, then I am sure they will quickly find a solution. Shiny is lucky and gets out of such brief changes thanks through the great dudes that he makes always. For the moment he surely doesn't mind sleeping in a hangar and doing his errand runs as flights instead. All totodily great! (-^.=.^-)
