im kinda new to the whole furry thing.. i have been a furry for awhile but never bothered to do.. anything

they are quite expensive yeah. but they're considered a luxury, as much as any other kind of art. i find it worth it simply because it's easier to express myself when people can't see my face haha. that and its just fun to wear.

...thing is tho im the only person i know who is a furry and buying something like that for that much.. while having no friends who even like furry stuff just seems like a waste.. (all of my friends think furry stuff is gross and weird.. i only told one person and they have not gotten back to me yet.. they busy)

so i keep shit a secret.. stop caring more recently tho...thats why i dont care who know nowadays

if you're new, i'd definitely say wait a little while before thinking of getting one. also try to talk to other furries in your area if you're able! i felt pretty similar til i managed to make a friend group to talk and hang out with. you'd be surprised how easy furries are to talk to considering you already have something in common starting off. ^^

how might i go about doing that? i dont even know if there are people my age in my area... im not social in person... more..scared to meet anyone type.. im very social online i will respond to people as much as i can but... yeah im a scared boy of 19 .. i am a children a full grown scared children XD

best way to do that is look up group chats for furries in your state. i downloaded an app called telegram and managed to join a chat for furries in arizona and met a lot of my irl friends through there. if that sounds like something you'd be down to try anyway. c:

i just kinda wanna make friends with people in the furry community.. alot of people on here seem pretty nice.. and from what i seen online they seem fun..excluding the more off parts.. but there are off parts in everything so i pay no mind

and no worries dude. a lot of people feel the same way, but it doesn't hurt to try. this group is a very accepting one so you shouldn't have too much to worry about haha. and if you feel too intimidated by large chats, you can always find smaller one's or even make your own once you find some people you hit it off with.
