I bought my fiancee a new motherboard and CPU and surprised him when he came home from work, so... Here we go. Rated at 5.6 in Vistas scoring utility.
Motherboard: ASUS M2N68-AM PLUS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16813131613
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16819103681
Graphics: BFG nVidia GeForce 8800 GT (Recalled due to lead in some cards)
Sound: Soundblaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Gamers Edition (Or summit...)
4Gigs RAM with Christmas Lights (Soon to be upped to 8gig)
His old rig was pretty much the same, except it was an ASUS M2N-MX SE ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16813131249 ) and an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+ ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16819103279 ). This rig was rated 5.4 in Vistas scoring utility with 4gigs.
IF anyone wants the old motherboard and CPU, send me a note, cause I can't use it since I have a laptop.

Do you build up your computer? I mean take a shell and make your own.

On most occasions, yes. It just depends on what I want in a computer and what my life is at the moment.

Ive considered making a gaming computer. But then I would have a huge distraction...
