As the title states this is a pic my friend Gryff asked me to finish despite the fact i initially just wanted to use his character to practice something out of my element... and well, he payed me to finish it so how could i say no :P
Personally there are parts of this that i adore how they came out and others, well... not so much (Blasted bushy tails >.<'). sadly since i couldn't do it i sorta did the tail like he would though he sorta layed down the rough pencil for it >.>
Well considering that this is my first non reptile, may i have some input? :3

from my minimal experience, there's no easy shortcut way of doing fur/hair. all things considered, I think you did alright. if you want to keep doing fuzz, try to shake the idea that a fluffy tail behaves as a single entity like a reptile's tail does. try a light outline for the basic area it will be, then draw the hair overlapping that boundary while using the shading colours you would expect on a curved, cylindrical object (which is what a tail essentially is).
