So I decided I needed a decent reference for Petal, and this is the result. Ta-da! She was made in MS Paint (which took FOREVER, JSWK, like I worked on her for I think four or five hours and that was just coloring), from a heavily altered base I found on DevArt. Yes, I did the altering myself.

This also resulted in a brief lesson on how to draw ears from my lovely roommate, and instruction on muzzle lengths. Let's just say that originally she looked very much like a kangaroo. As she's a Northern striped skunk, this was...bad.

Anyway. I hope it's evident that the double-toning in her fur is shading. *coughs* sometimes I worry about these things.

Petal is © her tail, which is a lot bigger than that. It's about a foot wider than her body. It is huge.
