"Everything I could ever sit on my left, everything I am on my right. To my left is the little girl dancing in a garden of flowers, the wind blowing through her gentle fair hair as she hums to songs her mother played on her radio.
On my right are the people with lives that have been thrown away for someone else's pursuit of power. Cuts mark their skin, some even missing limbs. I'm lucky, I get to wear a mask. Behind those people sits a devil swooning over a name, all self-control lost in those ruby eyes, my ruby eyes.
We all watch the giant figure in front of us look at us like dolls in a doll house. Behind them are more dolls unable to do anything about this being. I won't sit around and watch, my blood boils hot enough to give life to my dead body."
