Oooh boy this turned out WAY better than we expected. x3
This was a little culinary collaboration between myself and

Here goes with the cooking stuff:
Supplies: 1 large (really large) pot, probably one normally used for Spaghetti.
3 boneless chicken breasts, Cubed
2 cans Whole-kernel sweet corn
2 cans green beans
2 cans Dark red kidney beans
2 cans Chopped Carrots
2 cans lima beans
2 boxes of rice a roni or 1 box of Minute Rice (we used Rice-a-roni, one chicken and garlic, one chicken and broccoli, for the herbs they brought to the dish.)
2 Boxes of Cornbread Stuffing (Stove Top works great in this flavor) as a side dish
and 1 or 2 loaves of French Bread.
INSTRUCTIONS! (WARNING: This may take a while...)
First up, add a few inches of water to the big pot, put it on to boil.
Cube chicken, add to boiling water. Don't worry about it being raw, it'll cook *just* fine. Add salt or any other herbs you wish to boil with the chicken now.
Open the cans. We used the ones I listed, but you can basically use whatever canned veggies you like. Go nuts, experiment! :D
Add canned veggies, fluid and all, to the pot. Allow pot to reach a good, hard simmer.
Add Rice-a-roni or Minute rice to pot. Allow pot to reach a hard, rolling boil and then turn it down a bit, stirring regularly. Add any spices or herbs now, like Garlic, Thyme or Oregano. We just used salt and pepper and it turned out FANTASTIC.
While pot is boiling, cook any side dishes (like the stuffing) while monitoring the stew pot.
Once rice is cooked through (and the vermicelli is floppy if you use rice-a-roni), lower heat to warm or simmer, plate, and serve with a side of the bread! Serves at LEAST 6, some of us had seconds and we *still* had leftovers! Not bad for $24!
RECOMMENDATION: We served Nestle Toll-house Cookies afterward, with a *beautiful* Cabernet Sauvignon, and it... was... GLORIOUS. I totally suggest you try it!
