The eye gets you! You can even see the brightness around it...it isn't realistic...but who the hell cares? That's the kind of avian I want to see, so long as I'm not a nut <.<

I prefer things to be slightly 'fantasy' than realistic. If I can already see it with my own eyes, why would I want to draw it? :P

And I really loved the eyes.

When I first had the idea of him, I was not shooting for realism of an actual bird. That fantasy aspect, especially the way the eyes are depicted here, give him a really unique look. it's really cool XD
