This was pretty interesting and fun to do. It was meant just to be a sketch but he liked it enough that he wanted me to color it too. I've never done a detailed wave like this before, or a surfing picture for that matter. I'm quite happy with how it came out. Some basic ref was used to get the wave and surfboard right, although I still had to alter a bunch of stuff like the hues to get it to match the lighting on the character.

hehehe...don't know if I can come up with more good things ta say otterdude but...I'll try anyways Like most tha folks here so far, I'm completely floored by the level of detail in the water. As a summer yote who yearns to be at the beach, in the warm ocean, in tha hot sun...this really brightened my day. Heck it made tha rest of my month. Thanks so much once again. It was a long wait for this completed piece but it was worth it...even up to a year it would've been worth it. Have a blessed day otterdude!!!
