Perhaps a link to her past, Petra was immensely interested in historical fencing in the modern day. She took a shining to it almost immediately, practicing with a longsword and integrating her dangerous gaze into her fighting style. The "Ox" or "Ochs" guard leaves the point of her sword almost directly in front of her snout tip, so an opponent watching her blade would be left staring down directly between her eyes. Without proper discipline, her opponent would easily bring about their own defeat with a reflexive look to her own eyes. It certainly helps her make up for her relative lack of skill thus far.
