Every once in awhile our heroes get a day off from beating bad guys. Days like these allow Sonic and Tails to bound tighter as friends. Despite not being in action, the fox boy would admire the blue speedster at every given opportunity. It was a bit of fanboyism mixed with personal respect, sometimes the two-tailed fox seemed to admire his adoptive brother to the point where he would figuratively even worship the ground that he walked on. Sonic was certainly a perfect mixture of superhero and family to the young fox, definitely something he himself wanted to be.

Knowing that to a slim degree, the blue hedgehog had prepared something for his younger sibling. Tails would get a lot of closeup time with the blue blur today. Sonic called for the young fox while sitting comfortably in his recliner, asking him to stand on the coffee table right in front of him. Tails, being the naive fanboy that he is, obeyed without a second guess. Then our blue hero began shrinking the boy down within seconds. As the process was complete, both just stood still grinning at each other, knowing that it was merely fun. Sonic placed his naked feet onto the table, exposing his blue soles to his miniature friend. Although just wanting to reward the fox with some fun time, the blue giant would not pass the chance to tease his tiny friend.
