Vivi is a Violet Wisp with a huge hungry nature probably having some Frenzy in her genetics.

Vivi was put into a Void Wispon at random for the Resistance (Sonic Forces) as doing so her revealed "Frenzy" side cause the Wispon to be defective but wasnt known till it being used by a Wolf mobian named Lupa.

Lupa was gifted the weapon after so many mission during the Eggman army and Infinite war that was going on, and she entered a zone and fired her Wispon at the large group of rings, which her Wispon did spark a moment and shot the black hole making the enemies disappear as doing so her stomach groaned and it bloats up her belly as she was shocked and called in HQ about what happened with her Wispon and she returned back to base.

after returning Lupa holding her belly groaning from the ring energy as they looked at her Wispon mentioning it shouldn't do that, until Vivi comes out and fly around the group, then huggles Lupa's belly as she looked confused at the cuddly Wisp, they think this wisp must have some Frenzy genes which cause the void wispon to react in a different way of teleport the rings.

Lupa thinks the little wisp was cute and rubs it's head, she mentioned on if she can keep the little wisp, everyone at the base was unsure of the idea but it is from HER wispon and it taking a liking to Lupa so they agree to let her keep the Violet wisp, and Lupa smiled and then gets a idea and has a little piece of black cloth and ties it around the wisp's neck, as Lupa says "That looks cute on you, hmm how about I call you Vivi?" the little violet wisp was happy having a name and hugged Lupa's belly again making it jiggle as Lupa rubs behind her head blushing embarrassed "You like my tummy huh?"

overall the two became friends and partners in a way too. of course Vivi can eat massive amounts without being in Lupa's Void Wispon, usually good for noming Eggman's robots for protecting, and she can eat a LOT of em.
