Athos has a special case of not able to leave the divine plane due to his position as the care taker for the tree of magic. To get around that, and able to still walk around the material plane, he make clones of himself and send them to places of interest. This clone was sent to a world Rinna visited, a place where vore is sort of a common thing. As such the clone was given the capability to consume more than the average person... but said clone doesn't seem to be quite used to such ability.
