I shared this with the wonderful  ebonyleopard and after much deliberation and permission decided to post this here

So a few days ago me and mine were cleaning a spare room, closet had a lot of boxes and such. while going through a few I stumbled upon the most interesting container in the room. Inside the box, reverently placed in order and sealed bags, was the great Extinctioners series. Taking them out i found the comics covered a folder that held this picture and others as well as a notebook with a 10 chapter story in it.

I asked mine what it was and he told me the story. He had purchased the comics way back when he was in Jr. High or High school and loved the characters and story so much he made his own character and began writing. This set him on his path he has stayed on for so long, the dream of becoming a writer.

His name is Artemis Vercetti
He is a Cheetah and an enhanced hybrid
His powers include enhanced speed, telekinesis, and a minor healing ability. But his main power is the ability to form psionic weapons ranging from swords to bows and any medival weapon one could imagine (no guns or complex machines)

(the way he described him to me was take Green Lantern and Psylocke and add a little Deadpool and you have Bladerunner

And this picture is not by me it is by a very old friend of his gifted with the muse of art as a gift to mine, this character is all his.
