is that root note F,G, Gb?

I can't really tell by ear.
I'd like to hear some bass notes on those fifths, maybe play around with an the lower octave Eb and Db.

Any ideas on a melody?

Hmmm, I think I know what you mean. The note that kinda drives the whole song is Gb. Please forgive me. I cannot read or write music. I only play by ear, and I have very limited knowledge about music terminology. So, I think the root note is Gb. Also, I don't really know what fifths are, but if you wouldn't mind explaining it to me, that would be great. I really appreciate your feedback on this piece, and I want to make it better.
