Hello everyone! This is an absolutely awesome headshot art work from 
gatesoftartarus of a Dinorian character of mine -Z'axik the Utahrapcsis!
I absolutely love the detail on his scales, those blood-red eyes, the colors, the ribbed neckguard is also really awesome, as well as their maw and all those teeth ^_^

Z'axik is an Alien creature that resembles Utahraptor with a few twists here and there. Firs t up is that he's only 3'3 feet tall in his normal form. Second unlike the earth incarnation of Utahraptor, his teeth are ALL on the outside of his mouth, giving him a ferocious, evil toothy appearance; this is meant for intimation, as well as gripping food or prey, as well as tearing and biting.
As a counter for his teeth drying out, Rapcsis just like other Dinorians, secrete a slimy moist resin solution that also acts as saliva, which helps keep their insides -and in this case teeth- moisturized at all times. Unlike earth creatures, he doesn't have scleras in his eyes, just simply an iris and pupil, giving him an unearthly look in his eyes.
Atop his head and back are quill-spikes, whuch serve as a form of non-verbal communications, as well as body language. If he was surprised or startled, those quills might "poof up". If he was frustrated or some such, they may quiver a bit too.
Unique to Rapcsis, is the ability to see in the dark perfectly, seeing color as if it wasn't dark at all, however the draw back is his eyes will visibly glow according to eye color. So his eyes will visibly glow red when in the dark, giving him away. Albeit if there was a pack of Rapcsis looking for you, seeing those eyes would probably be a very bad thing.
However despite his fierce appearance, Z'axik is actually a decently kind individual, unless he's fighting or really cheesed off; that is when his kindness is out the window and he'll become sadistic and cruel, wanting nothing more than to kill you, or devour you. Worse if he uses his growth form, which is an even more monstrous look compared to his small normal form.
Fun fact: he's a field medic as well as Doctor and nurse.
