Miss Billishire - Courtyard By Candlelight
On a summer's eve with the scent of flowers in the air, with the gentle breeze and into the candle light moves Miss Billishire to the sound of distant festival music, a little sway in her walk and a light in her eyes.

First Miss B for 2020 !
Not sure how qusi medieval europe and asia became melded here...but i like it.
This is one of those pictures that makes me want to give up on skill and planning and just want to be lucky. Make a bunch of total changes of mood and style as you go. Why not? i might make an animated gif of the process for this pic - it started off quite lame and i'm rather fond of how this first version has turned out (yes, i will be expanding a refining this pic at some point).
Started from rough digi-sketch about four weeks ago...big revision two weeks ago...and changed tons of stuff this afternoon...and... it went from "lame" to "meh" to "oh my!!" ...either that or my expectations for myself were just lowered.
Just updated pic - her neck was too short in original post - made her head look too small...so she...erm...got a face lift. So much for my new art skill "dumb luck" !

Just imagine if she were to start singing a folk tune about planting seeds, with bouncy dance gestures .... these far-flung provinces having some archaic pagan rites regarding planting, fertility, stars, phases of the moon (the dance move for that being an amusing tradition in skunk culture, but scandalously taboo in cat culture), and so forth. Also i'm trying to learn to paint/colour better by doing some quick(ish) paintings. The animation career was the best art school to learn how to draw, but it totally fucked over my development as a painter.
