The brothers Short, Arthur Zachariah and Dax Cyphis Short, are not what one might call your average pair of brothers. For starters, how many siblings had to live through not one, not two, but three family breakups instigated by outside forces... Dax and Arthur Senior were kitnapped by thugs working for a vampire gang, while Arthur Jr and their mother lived on. Arthur lived on, the memories of his brother locked into a vault in the back of his skull while Dax endured the worst vampires had to offer...
Until a chance encounter in a new home brought them back together.
