(It is up to you if this is canon or not.)
...After Sewn had been dragged into the ranks of the latex snow leopards, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, months turned into years. During that time, most of Sewn's actions were out of instinct. He didn't care where it took him or what it made him do, he was just happy to be what he is, and to either convert or assimilate any victims he finds or assist in either for other members of the pack. During that time, a tingling feeling kept bothering him at the back of his transformed mind. At first, it didn't seem like much, but as years went by, it became more and more apparent, up until the point where Sewn couldn't take it anymore and decided to break away from his instincts and orders in order to find out what the source of this annoyance was. He ended up traveling back up the laboratory via the ventilation systems and found the source to be in a room right across from where he previously joined the ranks of his fellow snow leopards. Entering the room from beneath the door, he found what seemed to be this weird glowing necklace with an orange jewel of some sort through a part of the chain, and the weird orange gem was glowing vibrantly. Every five seconds, it seemed to "pulse," each instance resulting in that same extremely irritating tingle, which now felt like a developing headache. Instead of trying to destroy it, Sewn felt compelled to put it on, slowly approaching it and gently draping it around his neck.
The exact moment the chain hits his shoulders, all of the memories came flooding back. Sewn's home, his friends, him winding up here, and the origin of his amulet and the urgency to find it before leaving. Sewn almost blacks out from the sudden shock of this "soft reset" that had occurred, but instead slowly inspects his body, very surprised to see what he must have been this entire time. This was ironically his ticket out. He had his amulet, and now a relatively safe way to navigate out of the laboratory.
The entire journey had felt like a blur once Sewn had returned home, having needed to try and remember how he had controlled this new latex body of his, but once he found his phone and checked the date...
...6 years. He was completely devoid of free will as a latexian within that building for 6 years. While this might have been pretty alarming to anyone else, all Sewn could do was chuckle, quietly. He found the thought funny in a way, as he did miss Symo, as well as the alpha snow leopard of the pack- she WAS mighty nice. It might have still been a bit of excess urges, but Sewn still felt a small bit of compulsion to return to the pack...~ New Form: Latexian Snow Leopard ~
+ Malleable Body (Latexian)
Your body is only a mere mimicry of an animal. Your actual mass is capable of slipping through even the teeniest of gaps and smallest of spaces.
+ Assimilation
You can gain external mass and convert it into your own.
+ Conversion
You can freely wipe the identity and completely rearrange the body structure and appearance of any non- latexian you please at will.
+ Absent Insides
You do not need to breathe or eat. You still can if desired, however.
- Driven by Instinct
Despite the pros above, you have no actual control over them, and feel a constant overwhelming desire to hunt and prey on those unfortunate enough to meet you.
- Halophobia
You are NOT invincible. Don’t let it get to your head._______________________________________________________________________I feel like I could have done better with narrating the epilogue, but after I had finished the entire story, by the climax I had just felt like my writing was falling flat. I didn't really know where to go from there, but I tried to end it 'best I could, so yeah.
The reason the epilogue exists was, well, because if it didn't, then Sewn's whole motive of acquiring new forms, exploring, etc. would just end there, and I don't think I'd want to end Sewn's whole character shtick right then and there, or at least not yet.
Besides that, I can't thank Ausjamcian enough for these. He's been a super fun artist for me and Symo to hang around the entire time while we awaited more progress from each piece. Cheers!
