You have to make a tutorial about how you go around adding texture. It's mesmerizing.

This time around I went the photo-collage route and dropped in bits and pieces of photos I'd taken up and down the west coast of mossy trees and ferns and whatnot <3

I'd just cut out a chunk from the photo with the lasso, use the Liquify feature to shape it a bit along whatever surface I was adding it to, then played with the blending modes until it looked okay. Then I painted over top of it some to help it mesh and not just look like a piece of photograph tossed on top of a painting 9_9
