Snow.
Light and airy,
those little puffs
of crystal water twirl in the wind,
drifting on down to the frozen ground.
There they gather like weary travelers,
covering the roads and grass like a soft blanket
left cold from a lack of use. Yet even cold they bring
feelings of warmth to those within their reach,
drawing dragons forth from their dens
as their hatchlings rush to play.
Snow.
Excluding when I have to drive in it, I still find snow pretty enjoyable. I don't go out to play in it anymore, but it's nice to watch it out the window while I'm nice and warm inside my home. It's a shame adults can't have snow days.
