Selene is the first and only child of Evelynia and Karidon Salamarie. Karidon took his wife's name as she was the Crown Princess of the Dark Realm. Selene was only two when her father died and at four when her mother was murdered. Thankfully Evelynia thought ahead and hid her daughter with her brother's in laws, the Draconius Clan.

The Elder Dragon, who was to be her cousin's grandfather, taught the girl magik and how to fight. When the Blood War began, the Draconius Clan aided the Salamaries. Sadly they weren't able to save the young Princes and Princess. Selene trained harder while keeping her Uncle, Grandparents, and Aunt alive. As the rebellion continued, she aided those that remained loyal.

By the age of 21, Selene became the Queen's Captain. She gave up her birthright to be the new Queen of the Dark Realm so she served her cousin Anau. Now she serves as Head Of Castle, meaning she's in charge of palace security and confidant of her dear cousin.
