there are places you can learn the art of the needle. you could also just go into a tattoo parlor and ask one of the artists for advice on getting into the business. If you have some of your art with you it helps :)
Youd make a good one, methinks.

I haven't pursued art much in my education which I feel holds me back a bit, but hopefully I'll build up some kind of portfolio someday and do a round of the tattoo parlours. :D

art education is a joke. All youre learning is art history (which is good) and the way people think art should be done (which isnt) while paying out the nose for it. Just keep practicing and talking to people. :)
