I got ten bucks a page 7 years ago I did the full-color picture anyway, from one of my commissioners. Why you might ask? because you are only as good as your last picture. ;)

Well, do you? Since a sketch is a line drawing, basically regardless of the background you might add. It will still be 2d. Whereas a full color with color contrasts make the piece look 3d. The difference being one has more detail and the other doesn't but both are 3d with full color, sans a background. I'd use one of my own but I have line drawings or full color and no graphics of shadow studies like iPoke:https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33393837/ All of these people, as well as you, reflect that they all were able to attend an expensive art school to hone their abilities.

I am self-taught and don't 'have' this level of result that I'd like to. ...one of the reasons I watch you, and them. I know the technical side of what I want to do but with only being able to afford twenty-year-old programs to work with and not being able to upload a painting I can do exactly the same with by hand with a brush because I lack money to buy the ink reloads so I can scan with my brother 1200 dpi x 1200 all in one, my digital drawings are far away from my painting by hand abilities, (I learned techniques that work with canvass in oils or sign painting paint on the side of a concrete building, but they don't transfer at all painting in computer light).
