What kind of RPG class? mmhh... well. My GF and friends thinks the nerdy Wizard suits me perefectly. I'm not sure myself about wich class. I like the paladin a lot too, or the knight... maybe some kind of friendly medieval social justice wizard (like kenshin himura form samuray X, but with spells). XD
how about you?
how about you?
well, not exactly a sword + magic thing. more like an only magic thing, but with the strong morals and defend everybody actitud of a knight mixed with the "please, we can solve this with words" thing.
I used to play a character like this in D&D (it was my first time being a player after years of being just the Dungeon master) it was a wimpy wizard (full on illussions and transmutations) who was born in a long lineage of strong knights, he desired with all his heart since childhood to become one of those strong and brave knights from legend, to make his family proud and help the weak people.. sadly he was too wimpy to become a swordman or carry a fullarmor, two clumsy to mount a horse or not suck on parrying attacks as well as the other knights, too weak to defend himself even less to protect others... He had to find a diferent way, so studied hard and become a wizard to replace with magic and intelect what he could never get from his wimpy body. People liked that character on the table. I guess something like that could work for me.
However, in recent years, My GF, while playing D&D on my table, had based her newest character on me, she made a healer, a little mouse guy, extremelly polite and caring, it as a Shugenja (some kind of elemental sorcerer who politelly ask the aid of the elements of nature to get his power and maintain balance). It was just recently she mentioned after years of playing it, that it was based completelly on how she perceived me, and people on the table agreed... so i'm a little confused. XD
Well... i'd like to know what ideas is that, i guess we will have to wait till you finish the design to see, righr?

I don't use discord sadly. so it won't really work. u.u
Getting back on topic, that sounds like a really interesting cocept. I recently played "Evil within", the franchise is about a guy who get into a digital world inside the mind of sociopaths, horror, scifi action, shooting, <3. it could work as inspiration maybe., if you need more fuel on it.
Like Shun? oh man, love Shun, i'm as sad as you about the netflix adaptation. they probably wanted to help with inclussion/representation and everything, and I'm 100% okey with that, but Shun was the ONLY character that should stay at it is, since he already represent a minority (the calm, pacifist, polite, cute and emotional guy from the group), he is there to portrait a non combative and less agresive masculinity, if you take him out or make him a girl you're actually damaging the inclussion/represetantion idea the original series already had, it will be even less damaging to change shiryu or hyoga, even Ikki to a girl, it would be less damaging to the whole thing. u.u

The evil within series is really cool. My GF playerd both games, while i was watching and helping with info or ideas. We played the second game first, and it actually was a good idea, we get a lot of things/concepts better from it. ^_^
