Second best wasn't the position she sought to hold, but she had no other choice. One day, she would prove herself, but until then, she remained second to one.

Yes, this is Atra, the same one from Her Biggest Fan. This is some art from a prequel to that emotional story that I'm writing, chronicling her rivalries with Ignis, her struggle to prove her worth, and the conflict she faces when her own cold heart warms to the hope of love. She starts off as a Sneasel in the story, evolving later on in it.

I'm actually pretty pleased with how this turned out. I LOVE Sneasels and Weaviles, almost as much as Buizels, so I'm so thrilled that I managed to not just draw one, but draw one in more or less the pose I was looking for. You know, something cool, something threatening, something that says "I'm gonna cut you if you even think of touching me." I think that this captured Atra's personality perfectly.
