In general I've never been a fan of Spearow. I've always found its design to be ugly, its evolution to be ugly, and the fact that it only evolved once instead of twice also was unappealing to me. However, this image was a lot more fun to draw then Pidgey's! I think it was the dynamic pose and the rusty red color of its back, which happens to be one of my favorite colors. :)
Pushing my style some more with this one, and I'm pretty happy with it. I really like the clouds. ^.^ I drew this while playing D&D today (nerdy, I know), but my friends gave me a lot of input which was really helpful! (Thanks guys!) :)
