Japanese ceramic Mug I purchased at a Bookman's in Flagstaff some years ago. Marked Quon Quon on the bottom. Friend of mine from Osaka says that is the noise a fox makes in Japanese.
Quick look online shows it is also the name of the company and they have produced all sorts of animal theme ceramics since the 1960s.
